AI engineer focused on systems architecture: LLM routing, multi-agent orchestration, on-device inference, and the interfaces around them.

I'm Sandeep (Sai Sandeep Kumar Vijayarao). I like the part of AI engineering where research meets product: routing layers that keep most queries local, agent frameworks that hold up outside the demo, and vision pipelines that run in real time on real hardware.

I published IEEE research on real-time pose estimation as an undergrad. More recently I won the Apple Swift Student Challenge 2026 with ANU, an on-device agentic iOS assistant, and built a cost-aware model router whose local classifier makes 85% of routing decisions with no API call.

Right now I'm pursuing my MS in Computer Science at Northeastern University in San Jose and TAing three graduate courses: Computer Vision, Generative AI, and HCI.
