Career advice is usually generic because comparing one person against a whole job market is hard. SkillGap AI does the comparison literally: your profile and live job postings land in the same embedding space, and the gap between them becomes your upskilling plan.
I built and deployed it as sole developer; it won three PMI San Francisco awards in the NextGen Leaders category.
How it works
- A RAG pipeline maps user profiles against embeddings of live job-market data.
- Gap analysis surfaces the specific skills standing between a profile and a target role.
- Roadmap generation turns those gaps into ordered, targeted upskilling recommendations.
- React frontend, PostgreSQL and Supabase backend, deployed on Vercel.
